Kuchi Sandeep, a student of Narayana Educational Institutions, has achieved a historic feat by winning a gold medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2025. The prestigious international event, held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from July 5 to 14, brought together top-performing students from over 80 countries.

Sandeep, one of India’s four official representatives, showcased his deep understanding of chemistry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while competing against the brightest young minds globally. His gold medal victory not only reflects his individual brilliance but also underscores the high-quality academic preparation and focused training provided by Narayana.

The International Chemistry Olympiad is one of the most challenging science competitions for students. It rigorously tests both theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory skills, demanding the application of complex concepts under intense global scrutiny.

Previously, Narayanites Soham Pednekar and Kanishk Jain were selected to represent India at the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) 2023 in Thailand, while Mehul Borad made the nation proud as part of Team India at the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2023 in Tokyo, where the team secured five medals, including three golds and two silvers.

In the field of astronomy, Narayana students earned 2 of the 3 coveted spots on the Indian team for the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad (Junior) 2023 in Greece. Class X students Siddharth Gopal and Satwik Patnaik emerged as national toppers through a rigorous selection process conducted by the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Continuing this tradition in 2024, Narayanites Bhavyaa Gunwal and Shwetank Agrawal won gold medals at the 21st International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) held in Bucharest, Romania, while Bani Brata Majee brought further acclaim by winning a silver medal at the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad (IOAA) 2024.

With similar achievements in the International Biology Olympiad (IBO), International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), and other global platforms, Narayana’s methodical and visionary approach to nurturing scientific talent continues to set international benchmarks.
