Toppers Turn Mentors: Narayana Educational Schools Celebrates ‘Vijayotsav’ with JEE Toppers

Narayana Schools recently hosted Vijayotsav, a special interactive event designed not only to honour its outstanding JEE Advanced 2025 performers but also to inspire and guide the next generation of students preparing for one of India’s most challenging entrance exams.

While Vijayotsav celebrated Narayana’s exceptional achievements, 43 of the top 100 and 200 of the top 1,000 ranks in JEE Advanced 2025, the real highlight was its purpose: to bridge the gap between aspirants and achievers. More than 1,000 (I’ll check the number) students attended the event, eager to interact directly with some of India’s top JEE performers, gaining first-hand insights into preparation strategies, overcoming challenges, and the mindset required for success.

The event was graced by Shri JD Lakshminarayana, IPS, former Joint Director of the CBI, who attended as the Chief Guest. Joining him were Narayana Schools’ leadership team, including Mrs Rama Devi, Dr Sindhura Narayana, Mrs Sharani Narayana, and Mr Raviteja, who served as Guests of Honour.

In an engaging conversation with Mr Puneet Kothapa, President of Narayana Schools, Shri Lakshminarayana reflected on his personal association with the institution:

“My daughter and son are proud alumni of Narayana. I chose Narayana for their education because of its unwavering commitment to mentoring JEE and NEET aspirants with dedication and excellence,” he shared.

But his message also went far beyond academics. Urging students to embrace not just personal ambition but also national responsibility, he added:

“Success should not just stop with you. Innovate. Build defence technologies for India. Develop solutions that can reduce farmer suicides. Let your education become a tool for national progress.”

Toppers’ Talk: Learning from the Best

One of the most anticipated segments of Vijayotsav was the Toppers’ Talk—an exclusive panel discussion featuring Narayana Schools’ top JEE Advanced 2025 performers. Moderated by Mr Ashish Arora, Chief Academic Officer at Narayana and a celebrated educator with over 22 years of experience, the session offered a rare, inside look at what it really takes to succeed at the highest level.

Far from rehearsed success stories, students spoke candidly about their journeys—their struggles, their doubts, and the key strategies that kept them going. From time management and exam confidence to mental health and staying motivated, the toppers shared not just what they did right, but also what they learned from their mistakes.

Speaking about the significance of such events, Dr Sindhura Narayana, Director of Narayana Schools, said:

Vijayotsav reflects our commitment to nurturing holistic success—academic excellence, mental resilience, and social responsibility.”

Mrs Rama Devi, Core Committee Member, Narayana Schools, added:

“At Narayana, our mission is not just to help students crack exams but to shape future leaders and innovators who will contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress.”

Mrs Sharani Narayana echoed this vision, saying:

“Every success story we celebrate today is not only the result of our students’ hard work but also of Narayana’s commitment to building an environment that fosters both academic brilliance and personal growth.”

The event concluded on a high note, with students leaving not just motivated but equipped with the practical guidance and inspiration they need to chase their dreams—because at Narayana, your dreams are our dreams.
