The National Gymnastics Championship 2025, organised by the Gymnastics Federation of India in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, witnessed a remarkable performance as K. Mohith Sri Krishna, a student of Narayana Schools, secured the Silver Medal in the Junior Level Acrobatics category.

The event brought together over 200 participants from 12 states across India, showcasing some of the top young gymnasts in India. By clinching victory as one of the Indian gymnastics champions of 2025, Mohith has not only showcased his exceptional talent, discipline and composure but also become a testament to the rising visibility of gymnastics achievements by students on national platforms.

This success underscores the philosophy of Narayana Schools, which places equal emphasis on academic and co-curricular excellence. The institution has consistently supported students who pursue competitive sports by offering additional academic classes that enable them to balance rigorous training with scholastic achievement. In addition, financial support is extended to ensure that no student has to compromise on their passion for sports.

Central to this commitment is nSports, Narayana Schools’ age-appropriate, outcome-oriented physical education programme, meticulously designed to foster both physical and mental development. The programme promotes inclusivity, cultivating physically fit, confident and well-rounded students. By combining specialised coaching with team-based activities, nSports empowers students to embrace an active lifestyle while instilling essential life skills such as leadership, empathy, discipline, sportsmanship and resilience. Through this holistic approach, every student is encouraged to participate, feel valued and develop a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness.

To strengthen this vision, Narayana Schools has deployed a dedicated team of 660 Physical Education Teachers pan-India, ensuring every student across branches benefits from expert guidance and structured physical training. This large-scale network reflects the institution’s strong investment in building a sporting culture alongside academics.

To further inspire excellence, Narayana Schools also implements a structured financial incentive mechanism known as Sports Achievement Reward Policy to reward students who achieve outstanding results in sports, motivating them to consistently strive for greater success both on and off the field.

Such Narayana Schools student achievements highlight the institution’s holistic approach to education. Mohith’s silver medal is not only a personal triumph but also a testament to Narayana Schools’ commitment to nurturing diverse talents, ensuring that students excel in classrooms, competitive arenas beyond academics and creative pursuits alike.

The National Gymnastics Championship 2025 has once again served as a platform to recognise rising talent in the country. Achievements like these reaffirm the importance of creating an environment that fosters dedication, resilience and the pursuit of excellence.

At Narayana Schools we believe, dreams, when nurtured with the right guidance and resources, have the power to turn into remarkable accomplishments, because your dreams are our dreams.
